How to Zip a folder or file and upload it to Hotmail Skydrive

Using Windows File Explorer:
Right click on the Directory to zip up and move the mouse to "Send to" and click on Compress (zipped) folder

This is the compress folder or file

      

Upload
Navigate to the Temp.zip file and click on the Open Button

      

Uncompress the file
Right click on the file to uncompress and click on "Extract All..."

      

To uncompress the file use the Extract Wizard
Use the Browse button to update the directory where to uncompress the file to and click the Extract Button
